Full Stack Developer
Build and improve the systems that power CTLE bookings, villa data, payments, and internal workflows.
Cape Town Luxury Escapes is looking for a Full Stack Developer to help improve the systems behind our villa search, booking operations, payments, supplier workflows, and internal tools. This role suits someone who enjoys practical product work, understands business workflows, and can ship reliable improvements without unnecessary complexity.
The Essentials
- Location: Remote-friendly, with Cape Town overlap preferred.
- Type: Full-time, permanent or contract-to-permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain WordPress, PHP, React, and JavaScript features used by the CTLE team and guests.
- Improve villa search, booking management, payments, supplier data, and internal reporting workflows.
- Debug production issues with care and document the decisions behind fixes.
- Integrate with external supplier, CRM, payment, and analytics systems.
- Write focused tests for business-critical behaviour.
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to turn workflow problems into simple software improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years building production web applications.
- Strong PHP, JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, and SQL fundamentals.
- WordPress experience, including custom themes, custom post types, REST APIs, and data migrations.
- Comfortable reading existing code and making careful, incremental changes.
- Experience with hospitality, booking, CRM, or payment systems is a plus.
