The visually light glazing skin and sloping facade's envelope have been set back from Strand Street to preserve and highlight the historic streetscape of the 18th-century Lutheran Church. Upon entering The Barracks City Studio, you are drawn in by the ceilings made of authentic yellowwood beams from the 1700s. A connection of historical moments appears in various exposed nodes throughout the building, where natural clay brick, sea sand, and even seashells comprise what has now become one of Cape Town's most iconic structures.

The Space:

This designer apartment offers a warm interior with captivating decor and designer furniture. The open-plan living area is bathed in natural light, while the fully-equipped kitchen and luxurious bedroom area provide comfort and style. There is a convenient study desk, and the bathroom features a walk-in shower.

The building features a 24-hour front desk, access control, and lift access.
