As well as being a popular summer attraction for locals and tourists who flock to the beach, Camps Bay boasts restaurants and watering holes aplenty that line the famous sunset strip for fun that goes on long after dark.
Transit:
Myciti is Cape Town’s modern, scheduled bus service, and an easy way to get around the city. Current routes link the airport and central Cape Town with Camps Bay and Clifton; all you need is your Myconnect card preloaded with money, which you can do at any Myciti station or select retailer. Alternatively, one of the easiest ways to get around is by Uber. Just download the app on your smartphone, register, and start using it straight away. The best part is that you register yourself with your credit card details, so you do not always need to have cash on you to be able to catch a ride.

Electricity:
South Africa has been experiencing periods of load-shedding. This means that electricity goes off for periods of two and a half hours or more at a time. We often do not know in advance when this will happen. However, there is an app you can download in order to ensure you know what times it will take place and plan your day accordingly. Please follow the link to the app: Eskomsepush – the load-shedding app. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. This is, unfortunately, something that is out of our hands and governed by the South African electricity providers. Accordingly, neither the manager nor the owner shall be liable for any refunds, compensation or discounts as a result of services being unavailable due to load-shedding. Most of our owners, however, have taken a number of measures to ensure your greatest comfort during your stay, such as backup power.
Noise Control:
This villa is situated in a quiet residential area and we need to adhere to strict noise control measures implemented by the city council for this area. We therefore need you to understand and accept the following conditions:
- No parties of any kind are to be held at the villa.
- No noise or music of any nature (heard by neighbours) is allowed between 10pm and 7am during the week and between 11pm and 7am on weekends.
- No hooting or shouting in the street at any time (day and night).
- Should you have a guest or two visiting, please make them aware that parking is very limited and they must not park in front of another person's garage or driveway.
Travel Insurance:
It is imperative that you have procured adequate and fully comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation cover and cover for theft of personal items.
Groups:
No groups of all solo travellers are permitted unless by request. No bachelor or bachelorette party groups are permitted.
Children:
Although we accept children at this property, there may still be child safety issues and concerns for guests with younger children, such as balconies, split-level terraces, and unfenced pools. Guests staying with children do so at their own risk and are urged to take all due care and attention during their stay.
Monthly Stays:
Please note that on monthly discounts, electricity will be for your own account. No daily housekeeping will be included within the rate but can be paid for additionally when available and permitted. Standard amenities such as Wi-fi and Dstv, if applicable, will be included. Reasonable water usage is included; this will be monitored according to current city limits. Garden and pool services will be included when permitted.
